The Boston Bruins are reuniting with an old friend, signing forward Sean Kuraly to a two-year deal at $1.85 million per year, as reported by Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
The Bruins confirmed the move on social media Tuesday night.
Kuraly spent five seasons in Boston, debuting with the Bruins during the 2016-17 campaign. The 32-year-old skated in 270 games in Boston, scoring 24 goals and 44 assists through that time.
He played 57 playoff games for Boston, jumping off the score sheet during the 2019 playoff run. During the Bruins’ 2019 playoff run, Kuraly had four goals and 10 assists in 20 games.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound forward will most likely play in a bottom-six role with the Black and Gold. On Tuesday, the Boston front office added several players who will battle for a bottom-six role for the upcoming season.
With the signing, the Bruins are bringing back a fan favorite that fans can look forward to watching.
